The apartment is located in a small, peaceful, and charming village in Cantabria. You are just 10 minutes from the vast Laredo Beach, 40 minutes from Bilbao, and 25 minutes from Santander. Within an hour, you can reach Cabárceno Natural Park, El Karpin animal center, the Covalanas and Pozalagua caves, as well as hiking and climbing routes. From June to September, the community pool is available. In summer, it’s ideal for couples with children, as the village is perfect for relaxing and enjoying time with the little ones. Welcome to my home—I wish you a pleasant stay and hope you enjoy all the beautiful places and activities this area offers. Guests especially appreciate the excellent location of Gibaja. If you seek tranquility, you can enjoy long walks at the foot of the mountain and along the river, where there’s a lovely playground for young children. The village also offers a variety of leisure options, with bars and restaurants serving breakfast, snacks, small plates, burgers, set menus, à la carte meals, and cocktails. Cabárceno Natural Park is a unique experience in northern Spain. At El Karpin animal center, you can learn about the era and habitat of dinosaurs. In 40 minutes, you can explore Bilbao, with its Guggenheim Museum, the Artxanda funicular, and pintxos route in the old town. Santander is about 25 minutes away, with its beautiful beach and pleasant city walks. Nature lovers will find scenic mountain trails, the source of the Asón River, and numerous caves to discover nearby.
